Do you carry out House Buyers' Surveys and Valuations?
We do not undertake residential surveys or market valuations however we are usually able to recommend an appropriate surveyor who can.

How far do you travel?
We travel to projects throughout the UK and consider that to be part of our service.

Do you carry out insurance valuations?
We prepare insurance valuations, mainly for commercial property.

Do you prepare bank valuations?
We prepare estimates of construction or development costs but do not prepare open market valuations. We act as Monitoring Surveyors, preparing 'Due Diligence' reports on construction projects for lending institutions.

Do you deal with boundary disputes or The Party Wall Act?
We act as Party Wall surveyors uner the Party Wall Etc. Act 1996.

We can often offer practical advice in relation to boundary disputes but we not experts and recommend that particularly contentious matters are referred to specialists.

How do you charge ?
We try to provide clients with a fixed price fee before commencement of any project. That can sometimes be difficult if the scope of the project has not been fixed when we can provide a quotation based on a percentage of project cost or an hourly time charge. Fee quotations normally include travelling and incidental disbursements but, unless expressly stated, will always exclude any fees or charges payable to third parties and will always be subject to VAT.
